Stroll into Sidney, walk along the waterfront walkway, Sidney’s terrain is flat and well suited for walking or ask for one of our free bicycles and cycle the galloping goose trail. Kayak rentals are available on site and sailboat rentals at Cooper Yachts are only one block away. There is great golfing and fishing within 10 minutes of our waterfront location here on the Saanich Peninsula.
Butchart Gardens, is only a 15 minute drive from Sidney. Visit the Sidney Museum & Archives, take a ‘Walk Through Time’ while checking out the monthly exhibits. Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre, just one block away, is home to an aquarium and marine education centre focused on the amazing ecosystem of the Salish Sea.
From your private Ocean View room or Suite you can view the boats sailing by or watch a whale watching tour departing from our dock.
The Sidney Spit ferry leaves on the hour right in front of our property. The 15 minute ride to Sidney Island is the beginning of an outing that offers 10 miles of beach and hiking , there is even an old bomb shelter to be discovered (seasonal).
The Mary Winspear Centre, at the top of Beacon Avenue, hosts a wide variety of plays and musical performances as well as community events and local trade shows.
